Carolyn and Tom's second child is born. She is named after Carolyn's brother who died earlier that same year. His name was Harold Joseph and so "Jo" came from his middle name. "Anna" came from Carolyn's middle name and her mother, Anne. "Carrie" was from her sister Carrie Dell and also Carolyn's dad Lawrence Cary Varner.
